09.30.2026 – Where did September go…?

The funny thing is I am currently writing this the same day I will be posting. It’s currently 9:35 pm… reminds me of my college career and having to pump out essays just to get a grade…

Any who…

September went by SO quickly. It does not feel like a blur, but it did go quick.

To be honest, I have nothing to write about. I have no topic. No guide. Nada. But one thing that I did commit to was posting once a month. So, this is why you are seeing this…

And with a grain of salt…

               Let’s begin!

I don't know if it’s the writer in me that journaling just comes naturally but I highly recommend keeping a journal with you at all times of the day. It’s so fun and interesting to be able to see myself and what I was thinking while I was writing a few months back compared to now. I see how my writing has evolved from short one-page entries to 2-4 pages per day. It’s so easy to freely write and to put my words into pages.

I got to see my penmanship evolve. What color pen was used. What kind of pen was used. Even the type of pen that was used. I see when I did not have my favorite pen available for a reason and had to use a pencil instead. Every single entry tells me the who, what, where, when, and why. Some entries start off inspirational and full of hope. Others record the gloomy days. But regardless of the entry, a piece of my life was recorded on paper.

I love that on my journaling journey; I can learn about myself and write whatever it is that comes to mind. That’s what I encourage you to do. As you go through your day to day and you feel inspired to write, do it. Write freely, write willingly, write with no fear, and write as if no one was ever going to read it. Write on your bad days, sad days, and be free to be vulnerable in your entries. There is just something great about taking a pen to paper that helps ground you and helps get things out of you.
